About the event
Charles Dickens 200 Yearsor Ebenezer Scrooge On How To Survive The Hard Times is an event devoted to the 200th birthday of Charles Dickens. The event will consist of three parts: a dramatization of the Christmas Carol story in a contemporary setting, a short presentation on Dickens, followed by the game show based on questions from parts one and two. Contestants from the audience will be welcome to take part and win some money!

John Cudak was born in Chicago where he was brought up but had lived in Poland for many years now. He is fully devoted to education and art as well as inter-cultural initiatives. In his professional life he worked as a carpenter, teacher trainer, and Jewish community director. At the moment he works with LearningWithoutBorders as an educator, teacher, quiz master, theatre shows manager and actor, also performing in his own solo show, Joe’s Birthday. His style can be characterized by to-the-point remarks, sense of humour, and willingness to share his life experience.
